BEAMLE — Privacy Policy

Beamle is a daily puzzle game. The short version: we don't collect your personal data. There are no accounts and no ads. We record a small set of anonymous gameplay events so we can tell whether the game is any good — details below.

What the app stores

Your puzzle progress, streaks, and solve statistics are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded, and we cannot see them. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

What we collect

Anonymous gameplay events, via PostHog (a privacy-focused analytics service): app opened, tutorial completed, puzzle started, puzzle solved (with the tap count and goal), share button tapped, stats screen opened. These events carry a random anonymous identifier — never your name, email, contacts, location, or anything that identifies you. We never sell or share this data, there is no advertising SDK, and no session recording.

Sharing your results

The Share button hands a small text grid (emoji showing the shape of your solve) to your device's standard share menu. You choose whether and where to send it. Nothing is shared automatically.

Permissions

Beamle requests no sensitive device permissions — no camera, microphone, location, or contacts.

Children

Beamle is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from children.

Future online features

If we later add optional online features (such as comparing your solve with the world), they will use an anonymous device identifier — not your name, email, or anything that identifies you — and this policy will be updated before those features ship.
